Rothenburg is known all over the world and ranks among Germany's most visited towns. It sits on a plateau at the intersection of the "Romantic Road" and the "Castle Road" 425 meters above sea level. Below the town flows the Tauber River in an 180-foot-deep valley, and the official name "Rothenburg ob der Tauber" means "over the Tauber River."
Rothenburg, bien connu a tout le monde rang supé'rieur au milieu de villes et villages d'Allemagne pour les nombres des visiteurs.
